The Heat season is just over with a heartbreaking loss in Game 7 at Toronto.
It has been a long season with up and down , we want to say goodbye with nice memories of theri beautiful Dancer representing the Heat and Glamour of the city.

Can you introduce yourself name and city where you were born?
“Hi everyone, my name is Carin and I was born in Santo Domingo the capital of Dominican Republic”.
Can you describe your country?
“It’s a sunny place with happy people, the food is great, and in Santo Domingo you can find almost everything.”
For how long you were living in Miami?
“From more than 20 years, I was born in Santo Domingo but I’m living in Miami since I was a kid”.
How difficult it is to become a Heat Dancer?
“It’s very hard. Every year around 200-300 girls are coming to Miami for the auditions and to have the change of becoming a Heat Dancer; to remain in the team it’s very difficult. The auditions last one week and at the end only 25 Dancers are selected. There’s a tough competition and you must train during the entire year for this moment”.
For how long are you part of the Miami Dancers?
“This is my third year”.
At which age did you start dancing?
“I started dancing when I was 14-15 years and since then I never stop”.
During a game how many times you perform and change outfit?
“We perform twice, once during the first half, and then in the second half. We change dress several times, we dance and we do different activities to entertain the fan according to the result of the game”.
Which are your hobbies?
“I like dancing, shopping, dining out, I love traveling and working with animals”.
Which foreing country whould you like to visit?
“I’d like to visit Africa to see wild animals like the big lions. If I get the change I’ll go immediately.
What’s your favorite food?
“I like the Dominican homemade food”.
Which tips can you give to the girls that want to become an NBA dancer?
“The training is very important, you need to be consistent. In Miami there are thousands of dancers that dream to be part of the Miami Dancers so it’s important to work very hard.”
